To keep everyone warm and comfortable outdoors, please make sure your child comes to school each day with a reliable winter coat. Thank you for helping us keep our students cozy and ready to learn!

We wish all of our students and families a joyful few days filled with rest, gratitude, and time with loved ones. We are thankful for our amazing Springside community and look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, December 1st!

Good afternoon Springside!
This Sunday, November 2, 2025, Daylight Saving Time ends as clocks "fall back" one hour at 2 a.m. local time, returning most of the United States to standard time. This means it will get darker earlier in the evening, and you will gain an hour of sleep, while "non-smart" devices will need to be manually adjusted.
What happens: Clocks will be set back one hour from 2 a.m. to 1 a.m. standard time.
When: This occurs on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
Effect: You gain an hour of sleep, and evenings will become darker.

For Friday:
Say "Boo" to drugs! Wear your Halloween costume.

For Thursday:
Turn your back on drugs! Wear your clothes backwards or inside out.

Good evening Springside - Tomorrow’s choir rehearsal has been canceled since students have had such a long day today. Please do not bring your child early for choir in the morning. Thank you for your understanding and support!

For Wednesday:
We're dreaming of a drug free future! Wear your pajamas to school. (Remember to follow school dress code that will not disrupt the learning environment)

Westlake Cluster Concert Tonight
Our concert is tonight and we're excited to share what we've learned even in just a few weeks!
Location: Westlake High Auditorium - High school students will show us to our assigned classroom when we arrive.
Call Time: Students should arrive at 4:40 PM
Doors Open: 6:00PM
Concert Start Time: 6:30PM
Concert Dress: Choir t-shirt (any color pants will be fine)

Snacks: Students should bring a snack and water as this will be a long evening for them!

Good afternoon Springside - a few quick announcements. With the recent colder weather, please make sure your child comes to school with a warm jacket or coat. As part of Red Ribbon Week, students are encouraged to wear a sports jersey tomorrow — we’re teaming up against drugs! Picture retakes are also tomorrow.
