First Day of School (Grades 1–6)

We can’t wait to welcome students back! (Please note: Kindergarten does not start on this day.)

Mandatory Student Information Update Required
Parents of Alpine School District students:
The Student Annual Information Update is now required each year. It can be accessed by logging into SKYWARD as a parent (not as a student). The update must be done on a computer (not a mobile device). If this is not completed, your student(s) will not be able to log in to their school accounts on the first day of school. Please complete this process as soon as possible.

Student Annual Information Update Written Tutorial
Unless you have completed the update since July 25, your student’s account is disabled and will be reactivated within a few hours of your completion of this process.
Please make sure it is complete before the start of school so students can access online resources.
Meet your child’s teachers, visit classrooms, and learn more about the exciting year ahead.
Then, don’t miss the fun at our Springside Dance Party from 5:30–7:00 PM!

We’ll kick things off at Springside at 1:00 PM. Our parade route is divided into three sections:
Legacy Farms – starting at approximately 1:00 PM
Wander (North of the School) – approx. 1:30 PM
Saratoga Springs (South of the School) – approx. 2:15 PM
We can’t wait to see you along the way—come out and help us celebrate the start of the school year!
Our amazing faculty will be parading through the neighborhood, making stops at multiple locations to wave hello and pass out a cool summer treat! A map of the parade route will be shared soon, so you can find a convenient spot to join the fun!
We hope to see you there—let’s start the year with community spirit and excitement!
Hello Families!
We understand there has been confusion about the kindergarten start date. First thru sixth grades will start on Wednesday, August 13. Kindergarten will start on Tuesday, August 19th. Kindergarten teachers will be conducting one on one testing with students throughout the first week. Look for communication from your child's teacher to schedule the testing appointment.
Once complete, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a FREE FIZZ DRINK CARD (multiple winners selected!! Drawing will take place the first week of school). Who doesn’t want a free drink!?
Parents need to log in and complete the Student Annual Information Update in Skyward.
We apologize that some student accounts were disabled a few days earlier than we anticipated.
You can unlock your student's account by logging into Skyward as a parent (not as a student) and completing the Student Annual Information Update.

Please submit new registrations as soon as possible. This affects class sizes and teacher allocations. Last minute registrations can create the need for additional classes and hiring. If we can avoid the scramble, it's better for all! Please share with neighbors and friends, specifically those with kindergartners! Click on the menu option and look under the "Parents" tab for registration.
