Summer provides a wonderful opportunity to slow down, create lasting memories, and recharge for the exciting year ahead. As August approaches, our entire Springside Elementary staff is eagerly preparing to welcome your students back to school. We have been working throughout the summer to ensure that everything is ready for another incredible year of learning, growth, and connection.
We are so excited to welcome your children back to Springside Elementary next month! Whether your family is returning or joining our school community for the very first time, we can't wait to partner with you in helping every student learn, grow, and thrive. As Independence Day and Pioneer Day celebrations approach, Alpine School District reminds community members that fireworks are prohibited on all school district property. We are excited for our spring Lunch With Loved Ones, organized by the Springside PTA. It is coming up next Monday, April 27. Please see attached flyers for details and a map of where to meet your student. If you will be bringing your student a lunch, please make sure they know so they do not grab a school lunch. This event is for you, a grandparent, aunt/uncle, older sibling, or any loved one. We would love to see you there; however, we know many are working or otherwise unavailable. We have such amazing students and parents. We hope no child will be eating lunch alone and feeling down; but if you happen to see a child sitting alone, invite them to sit with you and your students. For students whose loved ones can't attend, they are invited to sit with Mr. LaBare, Mr. B, and the Springside Owl if they would like. See attached details. We hope to see you there!
